The article was interesting, and, I think, pretty accurate. The article’s description of the anti-Japanese culture seems to match my own experiences. I grew up with anti-Japanese sentiment, hearing about Japan’s sins against us and listening to a popular song about our ownership of the disputed island Dokdo. Even now I can feel its influence on me. Like the Koreans described in the article, I feel more positive than negative about the shooting incident.
